Description / Condition

Large 4to, 288 X 216mm, 6 volumes, engraved portrait by Lepicie after Coypel, 33 engraved plates by Laurent Cars after Francois Boucher and c.198 vignettes and culs-de-lampe by Boucher and others, complete with all blanks leaves as called for, a little light browning of some gatherings, bound in contemporary French red morocco, triple-fillet gilt borders, spines in 6 compartments fully gilt with floral motifs, olive morocco labels in compartments 2 & 3, a.e.g, silk ribbon markers in each volume, unobtrusive minor repairs to a few corners, a fine set.
