OBLONG 4to.(13.2 x 9.6 inches).Forty numbered pages of lithographs.Some pages with full page illustration,some with several smaller subjects together.Lacking title page but plates complete.Original publishers brown boards with original printed paper label to front.Loss to bottom corner of label but all printed details remain.New burgundy morocco spine.A wonderfull collection,of mostly rural scenes,from Purcell who worked in Lithography in the 1820's,producing a handfull of sketch books for different publishers.A scarce collection of plates by this great artist.
