Speed's map of the Turkish Empire, with ten costume vignettes down the sides and eight city prospects, including Constantinople, Jerusalem and Alexandria, along the top. On the verso a description of the Turkish Empire and the religious habits of its people. It was published in Speed's 'Prospect of the Most Famous Parts of the World', the first atlas of the world to be published in England, so illustrating the Ottoman Empire for the first time.
