The First UK printing published by Faber in 1967.This is the scarce casebound edition.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.A little pushing to the spine tips.Very light offsetting to the end papers.The corners are sharp and the gilt titling remains very bright.Free from inscriptions and markings.The WRAPPER is complete and is in near FINE condition.It bears the correct price of 18s. net.A hint of toning and fading to the spine colouring.The rear panel is remarkably clean for its age.The wrapper looks striking in the removable Brodart archival protector.The book has been Signed by Tom Stoppard to the title page.A ticket for the signing event accompanies this title as provenance. The author's first play which went on to win a Tony award.A very sharp copy and the nicest that we have handled to date.
