Very rare complete collection of the beautiful etchings of fishes designed and engraved by Albert Flamen, active at Paris between 1648 and 1669. Each plate shows two or three sea or freshwater fishes or clams against fine landscapes or waterviews, including a plate of two turtles.
Very good copy from the Hamilton Palace Library, slightly foxed near the edges.
