Description of Amsterdam bound by the Second Stadholder’s Bindery

Historical work concerning the Reformation in the city of Amsterdam by Isaac le Long, 1683-1762. Illustrated with 18 engravings within the text and 53 engravings on 27 leaves depicting religious institutions, including the large folding engraving of the domed Dutch Reformed Church known as the Coupel Kerk that was never built. The work is bound in a beautifully decorated binding bound by the First Stadholder’s Bindery in The Hague. Decorated with a large central ornament, depicting Atlas carrying the world surrounded by floral and geometric designs. (The upper spine-end is skillfully restored.)
