Hesse Svensk numismatisk bibliografi 0876. In translation: ”Collection of Cufic coins, which are printed as engravings, with an addenda of their interpretation, and the Cufic alphabet enclosed”. The farmer’s son, later Director-General of the National Heritage Board and the secretary of the Royal Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, Jonas Hallenberg (1748-1834), was a historian in the spirit of Voltaire. His vast production includes several works on numismatics. As a numismatist, he became famous for his research on Arabian coins. The annotation on the title page indicates that the book was a gift from Hallenberg.
